Paula Casey is highly skilled in the design, implementation and operations of innovative population health management programs. Areas of expertise include improving health outcomes through new program development, product improvement and expansion, designing and implementing integrated physical health, behavioral health, long-term services and supports as well as social determinants of health programs. Successes include integrating payer and provider population management programs to improve health outcomes in government and private payers’ market. As Chief Executive Officer of CKM Health Alliance, LLC, she provides guidance regarding Clinical Operations, Organizational Strategy and Improvement, and implementation of value-based services. She works collaboratively with organizations to meet and exceed contractual and regulatory requirements. As the Director for a multi-product health plan, Paula has implemented successful programs for Population Health Management, Care Coordination, Case/Care Management, Chronic Condition/Disease Management, Utilization Management and Transition of Care. She is highly collaborative with providers, government and community agencies, and health plans regarding population health management program structure, development, implementation, and quality assurance. Paula brings nearly forty (40) years of clinical and managed care experience to each consulting engagement. Prior to co-founding CKM Health Alliance, LLC, she served in numerous managed care (government and private programs), ambulatory and inpatient (acute and long-term care) leadership roles with increasing levels of responsibility. She is a published author and has presented at national conferences. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Mexico State University and her Registered Nurse license, Paula earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico with emphasis on Public Administration. She has been a Certified Case Manager for 20 years and a current member of the Case Management Society of America (CMSA).
Ms. Kehoe is an experienced healthcare professional with vast experience in Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace managed care plans providing assistance with development of innovative community programs, responses for proposals, cost benefit analysis and savings for populations and extensive transition of care development, oversite and evaluation. Within the provider area, Patty has been working with hospitals to develop and transition to value-based payment programs, improve quality aspects of care delivery and understand strategic planning. Her payer and provider perspective bring comprehensive understanding to government programs, behavioral health, long term care services and supports, continuous improvement, auditing and negotiations. Ms. Kehoe consults with government agencies, health care organizations, facilities and providers to improve quality of care, implement payment reform and assist with innovative health care program development with a focus on the triple aim. She has participated in remote patient monitoring implementation programs, workshop creation/speaking, responding to proposals, accreditation submissions and quality measurement activities. Prior to joining CKM Health Alliance, Patty was the president of Molina New Mexico managed care plan, which grew to serve 300,000 low-income families, children, seniors, and persons with disabilities in Medicaid, Medicare and Marketplace. Her strategic vision and ability to foster strong relationships ensured access to quality healthcare services for members, including implementation of a state-wide Community Health Worker Program. Ms. Kehoe serves on the Board of Directors for Lovelace Westside Hospital, Ocotillo Foundation and participates in international medical volunteer opportunities.
Ms. McEldowney is a results-oriented health care professional who has held leadership roles in managed care, inpatient settings, and Nursing Education. Successful at developing and nurturing strong relationships. Skilled in collaborating with organizations to meet and exceed contractual and regulatory requirements. Facilitates health plan implementations, assessing strengths and needs; assists in conversion of Medicaid FFS plans to MCO plans, including behavioral health integration. As Executive Vice-President of CKM Health Alliance, she provides expertise regarding operational improvement to organizations, with a focus on professional development, clinical operations, and strategy/ advisory needs. Prior to co-founding CKM Health Alliance, she was Director, Health Services for a multi-product health plan where she redesigned Case Management and developed a Chronic condition/Disease Management Program. In another healthcare system, she developed, implemented and directed a geriatric-psych inpatient unit. Ms. McEldowney brings her professional development background in clinical administration, higher education, and managed care experience to each consulting engagement. Highly skilled in authoring training materials, guidelines, policies, and procedures to enhance program operations. Has extensive experience in development and teaching a variety of clinical curriculum's. Clinical background is Behavioral and Physical Health. Ms. McEldowney is a published author and has presented at national conferences. Completed advanced training in Motivational Interviewing (MI), received certificate as a trainer in MI.
